Q: How do I make an appointment? & Are after hour appointments available?

A: Go to the Appointment Page of this website, select your required sewing service, date and time. Provide your information, submit and you're all set. After hour appointments are only available on specific services by request and are at the discretion of P.C.S.S. management. Please Contact Us for any after hour request.

Q: Do you provide pick up and delivery or in-home tailoring services?

A: At this time we do not provide any pickup and delivery or in-home services.

Q: Are rush jobs available?

A: Rush jobs on most services are available. However, may come with an additional rush charge and are at the discretion of P.C.S.S. management. Please feel free to Contact Us for more information.

Q: Do you provide dry cleaning and/or pressing services?

A: Yes, full service dry cleaning services are available with our on-site partners Any Garment Cleaners.

Q: Do you work with large groups or businesses?

A:  Yes, we are happy to work with groups and businesses to facilitate any of your sewing needs.

Q: Do you require deposit and what form of payments do you accept?

A: Yes, deposits are required on all services. We accept cash and card payments. (Contactless payment available with Tap to pay, Google pay and Apple pay)(Electronic service fee apply).

Q: Are you an African-American or minority-owned company?

A: Yes, P.CS.S. is a 100% African-American owned and operated company. See the About Us page for additional information.

We work with 95% of current fabrics available.


Yes, we can definitely assist you with any of your children's wardrobe needs. However, P.C.S.S. reserves the right to decline any children's custom order that may not fit the format of the services we provide.


In most cases the answer is yes. However, depending on the fabric and project P.C.S.S. management reserves the right to decline any project.


No, P.C.S.S. does not provide fashion design services. However, we can assist you through suggestions about your idea for your garment.


Alterations: We can have your alteration/repair done with-in one week. Rush job are available with approval and may have an extra charge.


Custom Tailoring: Most custom orders will be completed with-in 30 to 45 days. Our production calendar may change this time line.

F.A.Q. about Sewing Machine Servicing

 Please contact us via this website if you cannot find an answer to your question. 

When same day service is requested, We are happy to give you our Quick Service While-U-Wait this takes 15 to 30 min. and is for minor adjustments only. The on duty technician will assess your machine and inform you of how long to repair may take. Contact Us via this website to find out if your machine qualifies for Quick Service While-U-Wait.


Yes,  however please know that we are not a sewing machine repair shop, but a sewing company that provides technical support services, and do not stock replacement parts. We can order most parts with a 7 to 14-day delivery.


Technicians can only show you minor adjustments, based on servicing and repair performed. However, we do offer a sewing Machine Training Class. Please see Sewing Class page for details.


At this time we do not have loaner machines available.


We can service/repair most all domestic sewing machines & most standard commercial sewing machine. Please feel free to Contact Us for more information.


At this time house calls are unavailable. 


Yes, we would be more than happy to assist any sewing facility with machine servicing. Some restrictions may apply, Contact Us for additional information.


Yes, we can repair some other related equipment with restrictions. Please Contact Us for additional information.

Yes we do, at this time we are only providing private (1-on-1) in studio classes.


At this time due to the current Covid-19 pandemic we are not providing any group seng classes.


Yes, we prefer that you bring your own sewing machine, so we may teach you how to use it proficiently.


P.C.S.S. has class sewing machines available to rent (see P.C.S.S. Store for pricing details) while attending your class. We will also assist you in the purchasing of a new sewing machine.


Depending on the class that you are attending, sewing tools, fabric and pattern maybe required. After registering for your new sewing class, we will send you an email listing all required supplies.


All classes are based on a first come first serve registration basis. Full payment is required to secure specific class dates and times.

No,.. at this time we do not provide pattern drafting.


No,...we do nor provide any apparel production or manufacturing. However, we will produce small quantities of non apparel items. Please Contact Us directly.

We do not make house call for upholstery or window treatments. 


We do not provide any type of upholstery cleaning service.


Yes,.. upholstery jobs for businesses such as waiting room chairs, boardroom chairs, restaurant seating, retail makeovers, etc. are available. Please Contact Us for additional information.


Yes,... Curtains, drapes, valance box, etc. are all available for custom making. You must provide exact sizing and hanging instructions. Please Contact Us for additional information.


We do not stock any upholstery fabric. However, some upholstery jobs may require small amounts of fabric that we can provide. We will provide you with a full materials list, so that you may source and acquire your needed fabric from local suppliers.


To receive an estimate please Contact Us directly and speak with a company representatives. You may be asked to provide photos and/or measurements.


Completion time for upholstery is based on workloads and size of job. We are more than happy to schedule a possible rush job (with additional charge) if needed.

P.C.S.S. will work with any business or organization whether local, national or international needing the sewing services we provide.

Confidentiality

P.C.S.S. provides NDA's to all business client that are looking for confidentiality on designs, product, prototype etc. 

Communication

P.C.S.S. can meet with and update business clients via phone, email and/or video conferencs.

Paper Work

P.C.S.S. can provide financial and insurance documents if need in working with business/organization.

Is your company environmentally friendly?

P.C.S.S. prides itself on making sure that the impact we make on our environment is made minimal. We do this using environmentally friendly systems and procedures. Please visit the Environmental Impact Page for more information.

What is your production time line?

All orders are different and are based on our calendar work load.  Most orders are scheduled for a 30 day completion. However, some orders may take up to 90 days. P.C.S.S. reserves the right to schedule any orders time line as needed and to be approved by client.
